Moira is a recent addition, I acquired her at a little over a year and a half old from her breeder who purchased both of her parents trained, and realized training a young dog (especially a little spitfire like her!) is a daunting task. She is a compact, joyful, confident and very sweet dog. Moira had never been off the farm she was born on before she came to live with me, and she settled in beautifully.
She is just getting started in her training, and is very keen and intense to work the few times I've taken her for a spin. She has some cattle lines behind her and it shows. She is very responsive to training pressure, and I think she will be a fun, easy to train on, fiery type of dog that will be a real team player.
I hope for her to run nursery in the 2026-2027 season.
Lenore is a repeat breeding of Grim's litter. Lenore is a year old and just so fun to be around and train. She gets along with every other dog, person, and is just happy to be living her life. She has had a bit of training on sheep and progressed very quickly to lovely outruns and doing some driving at 5 months old, and now that we've moved at 13 months old she is getting started seriously. She is very confident in her decisions and quite resilient to being told to do something else, never getting sensitive. She is very easy to train and one of my favorite types of dogs to work with.
Off of sheep, she is a goofy and wild girl without a mean bone in her body. She is incredibly sweet when she is not richocheting off of everyone and using her slap hands. I hope for her to run nursery in the 2026-2027 season.
